Directs and coordinates University risk/safety and insurance programs to minimize the risk of financial loss to the University through the identification and analysis of risk and the implementation of loss control programs. Responsible for placing insurance coverage in appropriate amounts with financially stable companies, supervising recovery after a loss, reviewing clinical and academic placement agreements, providing guidance for special events and student activities, working with insurance safety and engineering personnel to respond to recommendations resulting in premium reduction and life safety, participating in emergency preparedness and response activities as part of the Emergency Response Team, and overseeing the driver safety program and database of approved drivers and fleet listing.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Insurance and Risk Management or related field
Required Experience: 5-6 years
