Job Summary/Basic Function: The Web Content and Digital Strategy Director is responsible for evolving the university brand through strategizing the continuous improvement of website features, content, information architecture, data collection, and analysis to support the institutional goals of the university, including but not limited to areas of recruitment, retention, and telling the story of Indiana State University. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for web and digital opportunities and is a brand ambassador ensuring the brand message is conveyed, integrated, and established across all sites. This position oversees the design, development, and implementation of web and new media projects, including podcasts and social media. Proficient communication skills are a must, along with people skills with a high degree of professionalism is required. Must demonstrate a high commitment to quality, innovation, proactive solutions, creativity, and strategic thinking to meet university goals.
Being present is essential for serving campus and performing the essential functions of this position. However, there may be some flexibility for remote work.
Required Education: Master’s Degree in computer science or related field.
Required Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience in web development, combination of related education and experience may be considered.
