Job Description

Who We Are:

Jobvite is leading the next wave of talent acquisition innovation with a candidate-centric recruiting model that helps companies engage candidates with meaningful experiences at the right time, in the right way, from first look to first day. The Jobvite Platform infuses automation and intelligence into today’s expanded recruiting cycle to increase the speed, quality, and cost-effectiveness of talent acquisition. Focused exclusively on recruiting software since 2006 and headquartered in Silicon Valley, Jobvite serves thousands of customers including Ingram Micro, Schneider Electric, Premise Health, Zappos.com, and Blizzard Entertainment. Jobvite continues to empower companies to provide an even richer hiring experience with its recent acquisitions of Talemetry, RolePoint, and Canvas – enabling hiring teams to source, engage, hire, onboard, and retain top talent with one end-to-end platform.

We have a cross collaborative environment with a company culture unlike any other. We offer a competitive salary, medical/dental benefits, PTO (including volunteer time off), paid holidays, gym & cell phone perks. Join our team!

What Will You Do:

This is an exciting time to join our UX team at Jobvite! We are in the process of building a small but exceptional team of UX practitioners, thinkers, and evangelists. Designing Jobvite's user experience presents unique challenges towards making a complex recruiting process and workflow intuitive, efficient, and easy to use for recruiters, hiring managers, employees and job seekers. There are several critical projects in play at this time that you will be involved in, including (but not limited to):

Creating a brand-new Design System for Jobvite
Overhauling the entire UI/UX of the Jobvite platform
In this role, you will be called upon to be a hands-on UX designer, a usability guru, a thought leader, and a mentor. We seek a candidate who has strong personal motivation and the ability to get up to speed quickly on diverse design and business goals. You will work with product owners to translate complex requirements into concepts and elegant user experiences. You will build high-level wireframes, prototypes, and process flows to communicate and test your designs with our customers. You will participate in customer research and analyze usability data to develop user profiles, personas and scenarios. You will perform audits and heuristic evaluations to baseline the current UX across our various products.

What Will You Bring:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a design, human factors, or UX related field
5+ years of B2B SaaS Enterprise application design (not website design) at the mid-senior level
Experience implementing Style Guides
Strong content architecture, information architecture skills, and visual design skills
Fluency in interaction design and user-centric design processes, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques
Excellent presentation skills (up to C-level executives) and ability to defend design decisions with solid rationales based on UX principles, user research, and product knowledge
Proven experience conducting user testing (usability testing, surveys) during various phases of the product development process
Experience owning projects from beginning to end
Ability to incorporate feedback and iterate quickly with requirements that may not be well-defined
Proficiency in Sketch and prototyping tools such as InVision (Principle a plus)
Lean UX practice and ability to work well in a user-centered agile design process by actively collaborating with Engineering and Product teams
Responsive design experience
Minimalistic, modern, and clean design sensibilities
Belief in team ownership and collaboration vs personal glory or hero culture
Exceptional attention to detail - from design inception to design execution
Excellent time management skills with a self-motivated and proactive attitude
Last but not least, a solid portfolio demonstrating hands-on creativity, problem solving, and design competence
NICE TO HAVE

Design agency experience
Hands-on proficiency with creating/maintaining Design Systems
Demonstrable experience working with UI/Front-end Design frameworks (like Material-UI, React, Angular)
Mentoring experience
Designing for in-app messaging (walkthroughs, surveys, self-guided onboarding, etc.)
Front end HTML/CSS hands-on development
Analytics skills
Data visualization background
What Will You Get:

Competitive salary
Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance benefits
PTO – including Volunteer Time Off
Paid Holidays
An experience you will cherish forever
