As Graduate Workday Consultant Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the successful specification, design, configuration, testing and deployment of enterprise scale Workday solutions.
This will be done by working with customer business and technical teams, as well internal Workday and Smart delivery teams within the Kainos Workday Business Unit.
Your primary activities will be to understand and translate customer requirements, define service scope, and shape, configure and deliver solutions that are fit for purpose and commercially viable for our customers’ Workday and Smart projects. Hands-on product configuration is essential for this role.
You must have a keen interest in developing a career in consulting, and depending on your skills and experience to date, you may be suited to work in one or more of the following areas – Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), Financials or Payroll; testing and support; data management; integrations. Typically, you will have a background in one or more of the following disciplines - IT; business; HR/HCM; consulting; testing; financials; payroll; integrations.
The graduate programme aims to develop your skills base across three core service lines within the Workday Business Unit – Workday deployment and integration services, Workday Application Management Services, and Smart Services.
Currently studying or have completed a degree in a relevant technical and/ or business subject – IT, business, finance, HR etc.
Some understanding of the Workday or Cloud delivery methodologies including the relevance of different stages of the project lifecycle
Good communicator, you will be willing to assume a customer facing role, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
Capable of working within teams and alongside customers, as well as on your individual tasks with limited supervision.
Able to manage your time effectively and record it accurately
Able to apply all relevant standards and procedures to your own work, maintaining high quality and accuracy
Aware of the importance of confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensure security of information
Able, if required, to travel to customer sites in the same region (minimal out of region travel may also be required)
