ADESA International is developing the next generation of a Global Remarketing Platform to deliver products and services to a global audience in the remarketing industry. We are using leading edge technology and scaling Agile to meet the demands of a changing automotive landscape.

What You Will Be Doing:
You will be part of the ADESA International DevOps team, we have members located in the US and in the UK but we don’t let the distribution of our team members stop us from being a highly effective team, we are constantly collaborating and supporting each other to succeed.
You will be supporting our Global Remarketing Platform and the delivery teams surrounding it by:
Ensuring that the platform is healthy and stable for our customers
Work to assist with automation of all aspects of our AWS infrastructure (compute, storage, API, network, permissions, etc)
Optimize cloud infrastructure including ongoing configuration of related automation, notifications, monitoring and reporting capabilities
Continuously improve our CI/CD pipelines to allow development teams to deliver working software faster and with higher quality
Focus on automation while developing during service engineering efforts
We work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment, so you will likely get your hands dirty with a little bit of everything that involves our cloud services
Work in tandem with other DevOps engineers and development teams to support applications
Participate in an on-call rotation providing support for International Markets applications
Ensure that deployed infrastructure and services are deployed successfully and consistently, using Infrastructure as Code principles
Test solutions and troubleshoot issues
The Global Remarketing Platform is built on the latest technologies, we are leveraging a microservice architecture to achieve both the performance and scale we require. This approach however does not come without its own set of challenges and you will be getting in the middle of all these moving parts, learning how they all work within a modern architecture and continually improving them.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience in Support/Operations type roles, maybe 1st/2nd line support.
AWS API gateway
Bash or PowerShell scripting
Basic knowledge of AWS EC2
NodeJS or Python
