We’re Looking for:
A Vice President of Marketing who will continue to build the TradeRev brand and lead our marketing team. You will report directly to the President of TradeRev and be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. You provide strategic direction and tactical oversight of all marketing operations in the US & Canada and create the strategy and vision to continue moving TradeRev forward. As Vice President of Marketing you will focus on brand strategy, creative content development, and social media strategy and engagement.
Develop and execute a strategic plan that drive rapid growth in customer acquisition and market share growth.
Work closely with the other departments within TradeRev, as well as other business units within the KAR family to deploy a comprehensive, omnichannel marketing strategy.
Maintain and grow the TradeRev brand and develop messaging to communicate our brand to our customers. This includes presentations, videos, and case studies.
Strengthen the communication of our key value propositions and sustained competitive differentiation.
Oversee development of communication materials that consistently reflect the TradeRev brand and ensure they are being effectively utilized throughout the organization.
Partner with sales leadership to create regional marketing plans tailored to their market situation, business targets, and go-to-market strategy.
Contribute to and prepare presentations and speaker notes for internal presentations, town hall meetings and videos.
Prepare regular all-employee messages about TradeRev, our customers and/or marketing events.
Identify challenges and emerging issues faced by TradeRev and work with the leadership team and staff to create solutions and execute appropriate strategies to support them.
Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity to provide feedback for the product roadmap and identify opportunities, threats, and key issues.
Manage and develop the marketing team by motivating, coaching, and consistently providing feedback.
Think strategically and actively contribute to TradeRev’s long term vision and success.
7-10 years of experience leading a marketing organization in a B2B technology company.
MBA or masters level degree in journalism, communications, or related field.
Experience in business planning, marketing program planning & execution, account-based marketing, and digital marketing.
Excellent data analytic skills including customer/consumer profiling, segmentation, behavioral analytics with ability to translate complex trends, concepts and ideas into clear, creative narratives and tactics that drive engagement, loyalty and growth.
Strong CRM and digital marketing skills including use of online channels (SEM, SEO, metas, affiliate/white label, display, mobile, email marketing, social media, content, loyalty, etc.). Salesforce marketing cloud experience preferred.
Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining a positive company culture.
Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.
Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs.
Ability to effectively prioritize, support and advance multiple projects and initiatives from multiple internal stakeholders.
