As a Managed Services Manager at Kinney Group, you will drive demand and sell our professional services offerings with an emphasis on subscription-based solutions. The sales territory will be national primarily within our base of distribution partners. A successful candidate will be able to provide excellent coverage of multiple opportunities simultaneously in different stages of the sales process. Travel will be up to 25% and will primarily be connecting to partners in Denver, Washington D.C. and Atlanta.
Hands-on leadership focused on identifying and achieving targets for growing revenue and profitability
Direct the operation of teams to ensure professional delivery of enterprise-class services to all clients
Collaborate with Sales, PS Engineers, Architects and customers on evaluating customer needs to identify the best resolution
Manage workload among engineers to maximize efficiency & productivity
Develop and implement innovative ticket management and resolution workflow & escalation processes
Player-coach and mentor team members on accomplishing goals
Develop and drive strategic initiatives tied to business growth.
Partner with Sales to promote and evangelize services offerings
Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews with internal and external stakeholders
Required Skills and Education:
7+ years’ experience successfully managing teams in a managed services environment
Possesses the ability to think through a problem and design a solution on paper or whiteboard before beginning build
Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills with both the technical and non-technical customer-facing an audience
Highly motivated, fast and proactive learner, enterprising, excellent team player, also able to work autonomously
Ability to work both independently and within a high functioning team environment.
Understanding of the Splunk platform and ecosystem
Certified to Splunk Architect level
Ability to obtain a US Government Clearance at TS/SCI level
