Job Description

Position Summary: The Sales Development Representative plays a critical role in DriverReach’s growth – not only in the education and development of leads, but also by converting prospects into actionable leads for the Account Executives. Additionally, you will be viewed as an ambassador of the brand providing company awareness to potential customers. A highly motivated and tenacious individual with a passion for helping others succeed is a necessary characteristic.

Core Responsibilities:

Research and proactively contact prospects to qualify, develop and convert into leads for Account Executives
Prospect leads to convert them into account demos and guided trials
Assist with growing business with existing customers, but mainly new business development Attend industry trade shows and events to promote DriverReach
Occasionally lead demos, webinars, and presentations regarding DriverReach’s value and benefits
Utilize social media platforms to provide educational content, share industry news, establish relationships, and cultivate business opportunities as directed by Marketing Manager and VP of Sales
Continuously improve and develop marketing skills and strategies to maximize effectiveness
Enhance organization’s reputation by accepting ownership and exploring opportunities to add organizational value

Requirements:

Strong desire to win as an individual and as a team
Ability to speak clearly and persuasively
Sales or recruiting experience, preferably in the transportation industry
Proven experience qualifying and converting prospects into warm leads
Ability to penetrate new accounts and grow business through prospecting
Must be proficient in web-based CRM applications and other online communication tools
Confidently demonstrate excellent presentation / communication / influencing / negotiating skills - both written and verbal
Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, superior time-management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent written, verbal and listening skills producing a high level of customer satisfaction.
Must be able to listen for opportunities as well as address potential hurdles
Active involvement and some travel to industry and trade association meetings and conferences
An ideal candidate will be a self starter, highly competitive, resilient, tenacious, driven and goal-oriented.

Key Performance Indicators:
# of phone calls: Measured as outbound calls
# of demos set per Account Executive per month
# of conversion rate of Account Executives to paid tier
