Job Description

The live entertainment industry has experienced significant and lasting transformation in 2020. In-person concerts will eventually return, but we believe that virtual experiences are a mainstay that will create new meaningful fan/artist interactions while providing artists with new revenue streams. Tailored insights generated from rich data sources have the potential to completely change the way the live music industry operates.

You should be an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up.

You’ll report directly to the CTO and work closely with other internal and external stakeholders. This is your chance to shape the future of live music!

What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with the platform and infrastructure teams to architect, build, and grow our data pipeline architecture.
Work with stakeholders across Marketing, Product, and Executive teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
Create data tools for analytics, product, and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our platform.
What we’re looking for
5+ years of software development experience
Experience with scalable ETL paradigms
Experience with relational database and cloud data warehouse technologies such as PostgreSQL and Redshift
Experience with document storage platforms
Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j
Experience with stream, micro-batch, and batch processing
AWS experience is a plus
Data science experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles and methodologies

You’re excited about the fast pace of a growing, changing startup environment.
