MetaCX, a new High Alpha Studio company, has raised over $14 million in early funding to transform how businesses manage their customers and how customers manage their vendors. The funding was led by Upfront Ventures, a leading early-stage venture capital firm based in Los Angeles. The company is led by Co-Founder and CEO Scott McCorkle, a globally-recognized technology leader who joined High Alpha as Executive in Residence in early 2017.

MetaCX is building a digital success layer that brings suppliers and buyers of enterprise software together for better collaboration and outcome management, offering real-time visibility into customer success.

The Director of Finance will oversee all aspects of Finance and Accounting at MetaCX. You will be in a senior role reporting to the VP of Operations, developing our process and strategic approach to Finance in a hyper-growth startup environment. This will be the first full-time Finance employee so this position will require not only strategy but tactical execution and the ability to get into the weeds of finance and operations.

What we need:
Create, maintain, and refine budget and financial forecasts for a fast-growing B2B SaaS business
Develop and execute financing strategy in partnership with the senior leadership team
Oversee cash management and accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
Manage annual audit and tax filings
Create and communicate financial reporting and analyze results to drive decision-making
Implement scalable processes and systems to enable and enhance growth
Position requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar discipline
7+ years experience in finance with management experience
High growth startup experience and a strong understanding of SaaS finance metrics and concepts
Excellent executive presence and ability to communicate complex financial information to a variety of audiences
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
Ability to demonstrate effective leadership in ambiguous and frequently changing situations
Familiarity with Quickbooks and Salesforce is a plus
