Mimir is looking for an Outreach and Engagement Representative!

Mimir is a venture-backed startup in Indianapolis, Indiana focused on creating products to better the Computer Sciences. We’re hiring rapidly to help us meet the education needs of instructors and students all over the world. Our primary product, the Mimir Classroom, is deployed in more than 80 colleges allowing computer science instructors to teach their courses more effectively!

As a member of our growing outreach and engagement team, you’ll work directly with our organization’s leadership to grow the book of business for Mimir Classroom.

The Role

Outreach and Engagement Representatives are inside sellers tasked with:

Prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales leads for the Mimir Classroom Product.
Working with the Hubspot CRM to manage and maintain sales data.
Engaging directly with collegiate computer science departments via phone and email outreach to establish relationships.
Supporting Account Managers by setting demo appointments and remaining involved until deals are fully closed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Be willing and interested in learning about programming and the higher education space.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Interest and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
Be aligned to and interested in Mimir’s mission to make Computer Science a common skill.

Prefered Qualifications:

Previous experience selling SAAS software or products to higher education.
Previous experience working with Hubspot or other CRMs.
Previous programming knowledge or experience.

What Your First Three Weeks Will Look Like:
Week 1
Meet the team and get to know Mimir culture and values.
Setup your new computer and get access to tools you will use every day like Google Apps, Slack, Intercom, Hubspot.
Undergo Hubspot, Mimir Classroom product, Mimir sales tactics, and basic programming training.
Week 2
Start prospecting new leads and start working with the Hubspot system.
Shadow Mimir Classroom demos and phone calls.
Learn best practices and industry tips and tricks from existing members of Mimir’s sales team.
Week 3
Begin your own outreach to prospects and leads for Mimir Classroom.
Receive continued support directly from the CEO, VP of Sales, and the rest of the sales team.
Review your goals as an OER and review career advancement opportunities.
