The Education and Training Program Specialist is an exciting, influential new role reporting to the Vice President of Marketing focused on creating, executing, and managing the strategic vision, in alignment with leadership goals, for our customer education and training programs. The goal will be to build customer confidence by developing engaging, simplified education and training curriculum for a range of users within a variety of industries utilizing and leveraging our Learning Management System (LearnUpon) and other tools provided critical to the programs’ success. Driving myCOI’s thought leadership with powerful education and training programs and curriculum will help further our goal of protecting our customers from the risk of underinsured claims, costly litigation, and failed audits. Although this role does not require industry experience (we will teach you!), it does require passion for teaching others, exceptional project management and collaboration skills, comfort as a facilitator and presenter and comfort with the digital world. The Education and Training Program Specialist will be facilitating and presenting typically in an e-learning environment and will need to be tech savvy, while also comfortable facilitating and presenting in non-digital settings when necessary.

Bring your passion for teaching, exceptional education and training program management capabilities and we will teach you the business!
Develop, execute, implement, and manage a strategic and comprehensive education and training strategy for myCOI’s customers and partners in collaboration with the leadership, sales, marketing, development, and customer care & compliance teams.
Manage course execution and set up for remote and in person education including, site and speaker selection, agenda, and content strategy.
Understand how our customers learn to dissect complex information into simplified content that is effective and engaging for various learning styles within a variety of industries.
Develop and facilitate curriculum that can be presented in a variety of environments (digitally, in person, etc.)
Leverage the LMS (Learning Management System) LearnUpon for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting, automation and delivery of the educational courses and training programs created.
Develop metrics and utilize data to track success and adjust strategy accordingly.
Leverage the LMS to create meaningful content and metrics that contribute to meeting the business’s education and training goals while ultimately benefiting our customers.
5+ years of experience developing education and training programs and curriculum in a corporate, classroom or e-learning setting.
Ability to adapt to a new industry and learn complex information quickly with the help of colleagues, industry partners and proactive learning.
Strong ability to dissect complex information into simplified, engaging, and informative content.
Confidence utilizing and leveraging Learning Management Systems (LMS) to create training and education programs and curriculum and track KPI’s. Experience with LearnUpon ideal.
Process oriented, yet flexible enough to juggle moving pieces and changing business needs.
Strong planning, project management and follow through skills from initiation to execution.
Ability to take initiative, proactively communicate and probe to seek answers.
Must be a very effective with the use of written language and speaking in front of others.
Proven ability to educate and train others in an engaging, informative, approachable, and fun way.
Must be somewhat tech savvy and very comfortable communicating in a digital environment.
Experience with WalkMe’s Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) helpful but not required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
