Position Summary:

As myCOI’s first Director of Partnerships, this role will utilize your business experience and overall professional network to work collaboratively across internal teams to build, grow and maintain a repeatable foundation and establish best practices for partnership opportunities to drive growth and engagement of myCOI’s products and services. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Director of Partnerships will focus on expanding community relations and informing current and potential partners of strategic business goals while building relationships, influencing, and contributing to the enablement of the sales team to reach the goals of the business. You’ll work closely with other executives to define short and long-term policies and strategies and connect with internal and external stakeholders to plan, execute and expand upon these company visions. This is a highly visible and strategic role and function that will build over time and can be accomplished remotely if the person is not in the Indianapolis area.

Essential Responsibilities:

Build, grow, and maintain the first strategic partnership program for myCOI in collaboration with the leadership team to generate sales leads and ultimately capture market share.
Establish best practices to improve myCOI’s partnership management capabilities and establish credibility, trust, and respect with those partners.
Identify partners that can contribute to the wider myCOI enablement (e.g. integration of partners into new services) and guide and manage the performance of partner companies to ensure joint success.
Strategically expand community and partnership relations in a creative, thought-provoking, and educational manner.
Effectively and strategically align roadmaps and collaborate partnership goals with sales and marketing.
Simplify the partnership process for existing and new partners.
Proactively identify and drive resolution of key partnership risks and issues.

Basic Qualifications:

10+ years overall strong business experience and acumen with an established professional network required.
Commercial Insurance experience with a strong professional network required.
SaaS/Tech and Enterprise Sales experience a plus.
Strong organizational and interpersonal collaboration skills with the ability to build and manage effective working relationships and influence at all levels.
Experience interacting with and influencing at the C-Suite level is required.
Ability to build trust and possess a high level of integrity through the partnership development process, from initial prospecting to project delivery.
Experience building repeatable, proven partnership best practices and strategies and executing upon them.
Wide network within construction, property management or commercial real estate highly desirable.
Superlative interpersonal, oral and written skills.
Ability to operate on both strategic and tactical levels, jump in and flex as needed.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, growing organization while delivering results.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
