Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Full-stack developer, with a .Net / JavaScript background to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using .Net, Javascript, Angular, and mySQL. You will also be responsible for profiling and improving front-end performance and documenting our front-end codebase.  The Application Engineer will be responsible for enhancing existing and building new applications for OneAmerica in Alfresco.  The Application Engineer will work on an agile team to design and develop new technology solutions that will help to modernize OneAmerica’s existing public facing application stacks.

To ensure success as an Endpoint Solutions Developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of JavaScript and Angular concepts, excellent front-end coding skills, and a good understanding of enterprise application development.  You should be able to deliver high quality software by working in a team Agile/Scrum environment.

Work autonomously being able to add value given a goal and direction
Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
Identifying web-based user interactions.
Developing and implementing front end interfaces leveraging technologies such as Angular.
Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
Documenting application changes and developing updates.
Ability to learn new technology, specifically Alfresco using the Alfresco University License
Primary Responsibilities:

Job Requirements

Required Education and/or Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science preferred or a Bachelor’s degree combined with related experience
Required Work Experience

5+ Years programming experience in .Net, JavaScript or similar object-oriented language
Experience with Angular preferred
5+ Years of professional development experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Expertise in HTML and CSS and Javascript
Experience integrating with API layer and JSON
Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
Identifying web-based user interactions.
Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using React concepts.
Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following React.js workflows.
Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work with other teams as needed to solution applications.
Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
Documenting application changes and developing updates.
Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
Preferred Traits

Strong passion for learning new technologies and using them to solve technical problems
Experience with test driven development best practices across the entire SDLC
Experience working in a DevOps environment a plus and tooling such as: Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Jira
Experience working with Azure cloud-based development tools is ideal, but any cloud-based development tooling is preferred
Experience with mySQL databases
