Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring that we are using quality data to make sound business decisions. At OneAmerica, our business runs on data, but we can only be as good as the data we use. The Data Quality program ensures that we are using quality data to make sound business decisions. As member of the Data Quality program, you will ensure that our data is groomed and ready to be consumed. To demonstrate the dimensions in which our data can be trusted, you will lead and perform data profiling, build data quality scorecards, and as needed, work with data owners and stewards to develop quality remediation plans. By leading this work, you are a key partner in enabling analytics and data-driven decisions at OneAmerica.

Job Requirements

Perform data quality profiling and assessment on the OneAmerica data systems
Research data anomalies in data systems, develop data quality reports, provide recommendations for correction of data, and develop business and technical processes to ensure data integrity
Develop and execute the remediation plans in collaboration with IT and Business teams
Formulate and actively develop test cases, test scripts, and output report specifications for data remediation projects
Standardize artifacts and procedures for data quality profiling, assessment, issue resolution management and reporting
Assist business and technical stakeholders in definition and implementation of data quality rules
Subject matter expert for data quality including approach, rule definition, and development

Required Education and/or Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or a related discipline

Recommended Education and/or Certifications

Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
Agile certification
Six Sigma (Yellow or Green Belt) Certification
Skilled problem solver with ability to innovate on solutions
Demonstrated data quality and analysis skills
Experience with metadata tools (Collibra, Informatica) and data modeling tools (ER STudio)

Required Work Experience

3+ years of data analysis or related experience
Experience with data quality tools (Informatica Data Quality)
Experience in insurance and financial services preferred
Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Salary Band: 05B

As a condition of employment, OneAmerica requires that all new hires who receive a job offer on or after April 18, 2022 provide evidence of full or partial vaccination against COVID-19 within three days of accepting an offer letter with OneAmerica and before employment begins. This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in IN as business needs dictate or for team building and collaboration.
