Job Summary

We are looking for a mid-level, DevOps Engineer, with an emphasis in Java, React, Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud to join our DevOps Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting multiple delivery teams across the entire enterprise by:

Configuring Azure DevOps including build and deployment pipelines
Act as a thought leader in the DevOps space
Support and educate teams as to how to most effectively consume Azure DevOps
Assist in defining implementation patterns for 3rd party tooling to ensure quality and decrease time to market.
To ensure success as an Endpoint Solutions DevOps Engineer, you should have working knowledge of JavaScript and React concepts, Java Development, understanding of what constitutes a DevOps pipeline, and be an ambassador for our DevOps transformation.

The ideal candidate should be able to:

Convert Jenkins CI jobs to use YAML Azure Pipelines
Integrate Azure cloud and third party services to work with Azure DevOps
Advise project teams on the setup of boards (sprint and requirement), dashboards, and reporting.
Assist in implementation of internal roadmaps for new DevOps tooling.
Work closely with Cloud and infrastructure teams for pipeline capabilities.
Work closely with Agile teams to make sure they understand the pipelines and can utilize them without help.
Documenting application changes and developing updates.
Work autonomously while being able to add value given a goal and direction
Job Requirements

Required Education and/or Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science preferred or a bachelor’s degree combined with related experience

Recommended Education and/or Certifications

Understanding of WebSphere
Familiar with SAST and DAST tooling
Familiar with Mobile development and deployment.
Familiar with Ansible and Terraform.
Required Work Experience

2+ Years as a DevOps Engineer
Minimum of 3 years working with Azure DevOps
4+ Years of professional engineering experience (or a combination of experience an education)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience leveraging 3rd party APIs
Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work with other teams as needed to design situation specific solutions
Documenting application changes and developing updates.
Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Salary Band: 05C

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in IN as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
