Job Summary
The M365 Engineer position will be a leading expert on M365 and is responsible for providing operational engineering and support for the M365 environment. The position designs and tests plan to ensure the stability and integrity of systems, troubleshoots and analyzes failures to minimize outages and service interruptions relating to the all O365 services. They will be responsible for administrating, maintaining, and deploying various new services, M365-based business solutions and well as establishing standards, processes, and configuration guidelines
• Implementing and supporting Microsoft cloud technologies and services such as MS Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint online, One Drive, Intune, MAM / MDM, Autopilot, Widows Virtual Desktop, etc…
• Implements, Conditional Access/Tenant policies, M365 mobile device management and Intune…
• Communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences.
• Establish and perform the O365 best practices for providing unassailable solutions for OneAmerica Associates – both technical and non-technical
• Perform administrative maintenance on the O365 tenant services to ensure optimal service response times and proper license and rights allocations
• Work with various IT teams as required to support O365 related initiatives.
• Perform product testing and integration testing as needed
• Identify security risks to our O365 environment and services and suggest mitigation
• Developing and promoting standard operations documentation such as procedures, checklists, Knowledge Base Articles and user instructions
• Ensuring systems adherence and compliance with OneAmerica security standards and practices
• Analyzing designing and implementing new technologies for applications within the O365 environment
• Put together detailed strategies for new applications and technologies
• Performing root cause analysis and repair of technical issues and trends to include assisting team members as needed
Job Requirements
Recommended Education:
• Bachelor of Science Degree or higher; Management and/or Computer Science major desirable or 10+ years of proven work experience
• 10 Years Information Technology Experience
• 8 Years with implementing cloud technologies (O365, Azure, AWS)
• 5-7+ yrs. of experience with M365 support (including MS TEAMS)
• 5-7+ yrs. of M365 Administrative experience
• 3 yrs. Experience working with M365/Teams Mobile (Intune / BYOD / MAM / MDM)
• Must have previous experience in a large regulated enterprise setting
• or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
• KPI:
• On time and on budget delivery of projects
• System uptime of 99.7% or better
• Resolve incidents within SLA
