Release Train Engineer

Job Description

Responsible for supporting Agile Teams on our Agile Transformation journey, by implementing the SAFe Framework. The Release Train Engineer reports to a director within the ePMO.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Accountable for supporting and leading on our agile transformation journey, as we implement the SAFe Framework
Accountable for developing and implementing communication strategies for the organizational change directly related to our agile transformation journey
Accountable for developing, implementing, and monitoring KPIs that tell the story of our agile transformation
Accountable for the continued evolution of our agile practices by proactively researching industry trends and best practices
Accountable for supporting and coaching Scrum Masters with developing agile teams into effective delivery units
Nurture self-organizing, high performing teams through leadership and mentoring
Accountable for developing and implementing communication strategies for initiatives and portfolios that empower stakeholders to make informed decisions
Be a champion of continuous change to instill and propagate a culture of continuous improvement throughout OneAmerica
Serve as an enterprise conduit that supports strategic, transformational, and tactical initiatives aligned to the EBI strategy and roadmap
Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and development of team members to ensure team and individual success
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify KPI's that drive and support Business Value
Actively inspire and promote associate engagement and development
Empower teams by contiguously defining and expanding green zones
Job Requirements

Required Education and/or Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree
SAFe SPC
Recommended Education and/or Certifications

Six Sigma (Yellow or Green Belt)
SAFe RTE
SAFe LPM
SAFe ASM
SAFe POPM
PSM II
ICP ACC
ICP CEC
Required Work Experience

7+ Years relevant experience
Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
