Responsible for making emergency fixes, debugging, and completing minor enhancements to the various applications and tools within the OneAmerica Collaboration Environment, primarily SharePoint. The SharePoint/Collaboration Engineer will respond to collaboration service requests and Level 2 incident tickets as part of the role.
Day to day operations – support the OneAmerica Collaboration Environment
Plan and execute day-to-day maintenance for the OneAmerica SharePoint/Collaboration Environment
Be part of a team that maintains the SharePoint/Collaboration Environment in a 24x7 operational manner; be part of a larger team responsible for supporting an on-call rotation
Resolve L2 incidents related to SharePoint/Collaboration applications and related forms and workflow
Execute service requests with follow-through from planning, testing, and documentation to implementation and steady state
Automate common second tier support tasks
Monitor work intake queues, maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and own root cause analysis of incidents
Handle company-wide communications during on-call outages
The individual will need to be proficient in O365 environment.
Recommended Education and/or Certifications
Bachelor of Science Degree or higher; Management and/or Computer Science major desirable or 10+ years of proven work experience
Required Work Experience
Minimum ten years’ experience in IT, specifically in an enterprise environment and at least 3 years management experience
Project management skills and the ability
Strong development knowledge of SharePoint on prem and SharePoint Online
Strong migrating experience (SharePoint on prem to SharePoint online)
Knowledge of the service delivery and service support areas of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) with specific experience in Incident & Problem Management
Knowledge of various IT disciplines and the inter-relationships between them
Strong experience leading Engineering and Site Support team
Strong understanding with SCCMIntune
Strong understanding of Autopilot
Strong understand of Active Directory / group policy
Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
Knowledge of policies and practices involved in the human resources function
Ability to manage staff in an engaging environment maintaining workforce production and development
Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills within all levels of the organization
Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
Salary Band: 06C

This selected candidate will be expected to work Hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in IN as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
