Job Description

A contributing member of the project team, with primary accountability for ensuring the conformance to the OneAmerica security & privacy standards, CRM architecture standards and developing the business solution including Solution Scoping and Design. During the Initiation phase responsible for providing input into high level estimates, skills needed, risks and contingency plan.​

Primary Responsibilities:

Advises, consults, leads, guides and mentors fellow solution architects to ensure our solutions are designed and implemented to the highest data security and data privacy standards.
Follow OneAmerica CRM, Web and Mobile architecture best practices, standards and processes
Provide consultation for CRM capability delivery at OneAmerica
Partner with the all Enterprise Architects to understand, and implement the Enterprise Architecture Strategy. Influence the roadmaps for each line of business to achieve the CRM Strategy
Maintain and enhance an in-depth understanding of the business needs and the ability to align those business needs with industry best practices leveraging current technologies in the cloud
Partner with Leadership to Identify and plan continuous improvement within the CRM practice
Ensure new technologies for future evolution of CRM practice are considered while developing solution designs
Follow and ensure compliance to OA data and security standards
Accountable for developing project solution designs leveraging reference architectures and design building blocks to meet business and technical requirements.
Accountable to facilitate technical analysis, comprehensive solution design, and technology domain sessions to drive optimum IT solutions.
Leverage other IT specialists as required to support solution shaping and resolving impediments. This includes potential engagement with enterprise architects, project managers, support teams and IT Leadership.
Establish deep and empathetic relationships with the business and peers across IT to effectively promote solution development.
Maintains awareness of IT strategic direction, EA strategies, emerging technologies, software trends, and tools.
Work with the delivery and support teams to incorporate process improvements, efficiency gains and tech debt elimination into the solution design.
Partners with Enterprise Architecture to facilitate and support execution of pilot and or proof of concept activities to validate technology capabilities.
Tracks and manages component interdependencies.
Assess and evaluate project risks during planning and provide risk mitigation

Job Requirements

Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to quickly understand and assess complex models and business processes when designing solutions.
Demonstrate strong business minded consultative approach with focus on developing customer-centric solutions.
Comfortable working with incomplete information and seeks to explore, analyze and collect information to increase understanding of a topic or issue.
Ability to apply strategic thinking, engineering mindset and industry standard approaches when designing solutions.
Ability to represent information following a defined design standard, using a combination of graphical and textual elements.
Ability to choose the appropriate type of model or architectural patter to solve specific problems.
Gain support for ideas and be able to drive consensus on technical challenges. Able to rally people/ teams to move towards a common goal.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills to explain complex technical topics in an easily digestible manner to technologist, leadership and business partners.

Required Education and/or Certifications

Bachelors’ degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
Recommended Education and/or certifications

One or more cloud Certifications (Azure Preferred)
Any Web Technologies certification is a plus
ITIL Foundation Certification is a plus
Knowledge of Microservice Architectural Patterns and Containerization
Any API or integration development is a plus

Required Work Experience

5+ years working experience in CRM technologies
2+ years as software architect or similar jobs
Experience working with Agile teams
Salesforce experience is a must have
Experience working on CRM projects is a must have
DevOps Environment with automation first mind set
Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
