About the role:

We are recruiting a driven, skillful, enthusiastic systems analyst for our fast-paced Revenue Operations team. The core mission of the Revenue Operations team is driving operational efficiency across the customer lifecycle by aligning the Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to enable them to move faster. The four pillars we build on to accomplish this are Operations Management, Insights (analytics), Enablement (onboarding and training), and Tools (technology).

The System Analysts’ primary objective is to help advance the effectiveness of our tools. Specifically, this role is focused on using Salesforce, to meet business requirements from the teams Revenue Operations supports (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance/Accounting, and Services and Support) through effective configuration and automation in these systems.

Ability to support our revenue-focused departments and cloud-based solutions, primarily with the use of Salesforce and other closely linked systems
Drive change management by designing and executing thorough tests of all enhancements to ensure that new implementations or configuration changes do not interrupt existing business functions (quality assurance)
Translate automation and configuration in Revenue Operations systems (our tech stack) into understandable terms (plain English) for our stakeholders
Gather requirements from other departments for project/improvement requests, estimate time to completion, and prioritize against previously identified/planned projects

Candidate Requirements:

Be an outstanding listener and insightful question-asker – don’t be afraid to ask the obvious question that might be on everyone’s minds
Strong knowledge of and 1 year of experience with Salesforce Administration (Salesforce Certified Administrator strongly preferred – if not certified, progress toward obtaining certification should be demonstrated)
Skills and experience to assist right away with Salesforce Administration work: report building, understanding basic Salesforce object structure, ability to answer questions about current automation and metadata setup, and ability to use declarative tools in Salesforce to automate business processes
Competency in Excel
Ability to think creatively, come up with multiple paths to solve a problem within existing constraints
Excellent time and project management skills, ability to determine priority among several competing demands, and willingness to juggle a large project or two with smaller enhancements (we really value dedicated “heads-down” time for larger projects, but there will typically be multiple responsibilities on your plate at once
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited 4-year university or college or equivalent experience

Candidate Nice-to-Haves:

Experience working with additional data analytics tools and cloud-based systems on top of Salesforce
Computer science background or some experience coding/building an automated process
Experience in Sales/working with a Sales organization
Interest in smart use of technology and building automated processes
Previously fulfilled data management, troubleshooting, and quality assurance/change management experience
Track record of implementing new ideas that have liberated others’ time through efficiency gain and/or resulted in cost savings
Experience working well within a cross-functional team environment
