PERQ is looking for a "Product Marketing Manager". This individual will be a passionate professional with proven ability to develop business plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ability to launch commercially successful products that exceed the needs of consumers and provide value to businesses. The right person will have a strong understanding of product positioning, consumer segmentation, product messaging, and sales enablement. Our Product Marketing Manager needs to be experienced utilizing market and consumer research to drive product innovation requirements through the product development process.
Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market.
Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products.
Product launch – plan launch of new products and releases while managing the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
Market intelligence – be the expert on your buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them.
Work closely with product management team to determine the most profitable course for each existing and new product.
Develop product positioning and messaging for success in the market.
Create product packaging and pricing strategy.
Deliver the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of the products.
Perform market intelligence to deeply understand our customers, their buying criteria and our competitors' strengths and weaknesses.
Create technical product presentations, educational presentations, technical briefs and other resources to ensure sales team success.
Support sales channels and partners with educational tools, working in conjunction with sales and product development.
Build product messaging, develop product collateral & sales tools and participate in product launches.
Work with corporate marketing to guide demand generation.
Be a thought leader – have an active role in product and market educational content creation for delivery across multiple digital channels, such as website, social, blog, and email marketing.
Create annual product roadmap plans based on client/industry requirements and market trends that will drive company revenue growth.
Develop detailed business cases to support new product investments (inclusive of consumer/industry market research, competitive product information, financial analysis, and go-to-market strategy.)
Provide product/benefit expertise to the sales and communications teams including competitive matrix charts reflecting market share by brand and price point
Respond quickly to the needs of internal/external customers including sales and engineering to capitalize on new opportunities.

Bachelor's degree in marketing or business
Willingness to travel 5%
5+ years of software product marketing experience with at least 2 years' experience in a field facing role
