The Role

PERQ's Product Owner is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, contributing to the product vision, and working closely with engineering, user experience, sales and operations, product marketing and marketing. This individual will have feature management responsibility for the entire product delivery, including oversight of development, documentation, migration, testing and enablement of the products and features they are responsible for. It is crucial that this position designs and builds products that drives increased consumer engagement, high value to our customers, optimizes implementation supports PERQ's overall strategy and goals.

Own, define and prioritize the product requirements for the set of PERQ functionality
Be the product champion and leader within product design, development, testing and enablement
Lead a cross functional team of development resources, quality assurance and user experience resources in an agile environment
Manage the delivery of product to ensure a timely release of product that will meet the defined requirements, quality standards and customer experience standards
Collaborate with customers, prospects, the client success, implementation, sales, and other outside influencers to ensure customer feedback is being properly considered within the product solution
Work with Product Management, Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Sales & Operations and other internal groups to ensure the product functionality and delivery is aligned with the overall corporate strategies and goals
Be the subject matter expert for the PERQ application and use of the application cross verticals
Oversee product functionality and vertical solutions from concept through first customer implementation and in a scalable template.
Engage with customers both proactively and reactively to listen and obtain their feedback on the product
Manage customer situations by listening to customer pains, creating action plans and driving to solutions for these customers
Supports the sales, services, implementation and client success effort for the PERQ application as needed
Work within the Agile/SCRUM methodologies used by the PERQ Product Group and actively participate in improving our processes and operational efficiency
The Ideal Candidate:

Required 2 years experience of product ownership with a technology company
Demonstrable proficiency in product design, delivery and leadership
Experience with Software Development Lifecycle with a technology company
Ability to travel to customer sites (estimated at <5% travel)
Working knowledge of software as a service and Agile/SCRUM methodologies is a plus
Experience with website and consumer applications is a plus
A minimum of BS in a computer software related discipline
