The Role

The Software Implementation Engineer role is responsible for implementing, configuring, and integrating PERQ's web engagement software on to our customer's websites. You will utilize the PERQ software configuration platform as well as write custom JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to optimize the placement, appearance, and functionality of the software. You will also be the first escalation for internal resources with technical questions or issues with the software, though this role is not customer facing.

Deepen your understanding of web development tools and practices
Write custom JavaScript, HTML, and CSS that works across all browsers and devices
Utilize Google Chrome's developer tools and other cross-browser testing and development tools to analyze, modify, and enhance a website
Utilize a SaaS software product to configure product features for clients
Troubleshoot, resolve, and take ownership of escalated technical issues from customers
Customize existing software functionality and appearance to meet a customer's unique requirements
Learn new software and become an expert in how websites and web pages are structured

Requirements:

You have strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills
You have excellent problem-solving abilities and are a strong logical thinker
Completed or are pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer technology, or other relevant software programming studies or equivalent training
Minimum 1 year of web development experience
