Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales Operations this position is responsible for 1) all functions relating to preparation validation and disbursement of US sales teams’ variable incentive compensation plans and 2) working with internal teams to conduct pro forma analysis of large sales opportunities.
Daily use of Salesforce CRM, NetSuite and collaboration across teams will be required to process incentive payments and generate quarterly statements in accordance with all US sales compensation plan guidelines. Additional responsibilities include the maintenance of Salesforce CRM data and monitoring of account tagging and territory assignment rules. Manages policies and procedures (audit and control) of all operational activities relating to the incentive plan calculations and disbursement process and other incentive pay processes as needed. Must be able to work independently and take initiative without the express direction of management.
Collaboration across teams, including Sales, IT and Finance, will be required to create pro forma analysis of large sales opportunities. Responsibilities will include assembling the data and creating the pro forma, securing stakeholder and management approval, and analyzing project post implementation.

Develop solid understanding of the sales teams’ current variable incentive pay plans and applicable additional incentives.
Drive the current incentive plan process to ensure accurate and timely payments.
Calculate, prepare, and manage approval process for quarterly incentive pay statements.
Prepare quarterly incentive pay summary reporting to business leads and executive team.
Prepare detailed reports on monthly closed business.
Responsible for tracking closed business opportunities, signed contracts, and ensuring all data is in Salesforce CRM.
Responsible for submitting standard reports to finance for billing schedules/parameters for closed business.
Analyze and report on recognized revenue for specific closed business opportunities.
Work closely with the core and extended teams to establish and maintain strong relationships with the Sales Management and their sales teams.
Review incentive plan payments to ensure they are in line with plan thresholds, investigate issues and appropriate actions to resolve.
Collaborate with finance, accounting, legal and other departments to 1) ensure that the inputs and data to the incentive plan calculations are accurate and 2) identify and secure any additional data needed for calculations and reporting.
Liaising with payroll to ensure incentive pay payments are always paid on time in line with sales incentive plans terms and conditions.
Manage individual queries to ensure payments are understood by the employee, based on the data being included.
Identify and recommend incentive plan process improvements to Sales Managers and Sales Operations.
Calculate and prepare pro forma analysis for sales opportunities over a specific value threshold.
Interact with sales, IT and finance staff to secure the data needed for the pro forma analysis.
Leverage past pro forma formats to ensure applicability to business unit.
Manage stakeholder/manager approval process to ensure approval prior to proposal submission.
Analyze projects post-implementation to determine accuracy of initial model.
Execute ad hoc analysis and projects as needed to inform ongoing achievement and decision making.
Qualifications & Experience

Ability to maintain professional conduct, attitude and appearance at all times.
Experience in finance and incentive pay (or commissions) processing, quota setting and compensation plan development.
Expert use in Microsoft applications particularly Excel and also including Word and PowerPoint.
Salesforce CRM, NetSuite, and/or Sales Operations experience highly desired.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field; may consider related work experience.
