As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will use your extensive knowledge on our customers and our products to create successful marketing strategies. You will need to know our buyers better than anyone else – how and why they make their buying decisions – as well as have a deep understanding of the competitive landscape. You will use market evidence and data points to develop product messaging that empowers our sales channels. As the third member of our marketing team, you’ll have a unique chance to drive the long-term direction of the company and our products.

This is a remote position that reports to the Director of Marketing.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be the expert on our product, our customer, and our competition
  • Develop product positioning content, marketing messaging, supporting resources and sales enablement tools to ensure the successful launch of new products and features
  • Formulate the go-to-market strategy for product and feature launches considering available data, Qualifi’s position, and the competitive environment
  • Communicate launch plans and available resources effectively across the organization to ensure all internal teams are informed and prepared
  • Understand and document our buyer’s process
  • Articulate how Qualifi is different, and the problems we help customers solve for to both internal and external audiences
  • Build a value framework that can be used to sell the value of Qualifi throughout the entire sales and post sales cycle
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop product positioning content, product names, pricing, and messaging that resonates with our target buyers
  • Translate software specifications and technical products into meaningful value propositions for the intended audiences
  • Be a key resource and the subject matter expert for our content team and contractors
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adapt strategies on an ongoing basis
  • Become a key thought leader internally and support Qualifi’s thought leaders with content including speaking engagements and written pieces
  • Monitor competitors’ products/brands while staying abreast of relevant industry trends

What you’ll be bring to the table:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience building impactful B2B marketing strategies and executing product marketing plan
  • Preferred experience in HR Tech
  • A demonstrated track record of driving growth, revenue, and recognition for products or brands
  • Entrepreneurial drive — you are a self-starter with curiosity who thrives in a start-up environment
  • Prior experience in crafting compelling positioning, marketing, and sales content
  • Experience and talent influencing cross-functional stakeholders including product, customer success, engineering, and sales
  • A quantitative and analytical aptitude — you love having data to prove what is working & what isn’t working
  • Technical acumen — you possesses vision to identify whitespace opportunities and have experience supporting the development and commercialization of breakthrough innovations
  • Persuasive storytelling with excellent listening, spoken, and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000

  • Qualifi asynchronous phone interview (take it any day time, day or night)
  • 60-min virtual interview including 10-minute thought leadership exercise with our Director of Marketing and Co-Founder / VP of Product
  • 45-min virtual interview with our Fractional CMO
