Job Description

Our Product Management Team is looking to hire an Associate Product Manager in Indianapolis, IN. As an Associate Product Manager at Scale Computing, you will be responsible for supporting the Product Management team in making data-driven decisions through the collection of quantitative and qualitative product and industry metrics. This role owns the entirety of our Win/Loss analysis and customer research programs, which underpin our product team’s joint understanding of the buyer’s journey from the inception (prior to initial purchase) through to the retention of existing customers.

With this unique knowledge of our customers, you will own the tactical pricing of HC3 products and will work hand-in-hand with the Product Managers of each line of business to set quarterly pricing. You will be expected to interface with internal and external stakeholders at all levels through multiple communication channels, making strong communication skills a must. Responsibilities

Oversee ongoing Win/Loss analysis across all target market
Maintain inhibitors/objections list to support backlog prioritization
Manage the current customer environment research program
Deliver and analyze quarterly customer survey
Understand the competitive landscape and articulate product gaps/strengths vs. Scale Computing products
Work hand-in-hand with product development to clarify user stories/release requirements and generally removing roadblocks in the implementation details for new features when leading new feature development
Own the day-to-day tactical pricing analysis
Maintain quarterly KPI analysis
Requirements:

1+ year of product management experience
Strong preference for a background in virtualization technology / IT infrastructure
Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making
Bachelor’s in business, marketing or engineering preferred
Experience with agile scrum development and lean startup principles
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
Willing to travel up to 10%
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
Pragmatic Marketing familiarity a plus
3-5 years Salesforce experience, administrator skills required
Strong Microsoft Office / Google Apps skills
Positive attitude and growth mindset
Takes initiative and delivers results with minimal supervision
Strong business acumen, technical aptitude, analytical skills, & attention to detail
Ability to manage and prioritize projects and ticketing systems with a Team and external Contractors
Ability to clearly & concisely communicate with users in different roles and with varying skill sets
