Data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) is a vital function in supporting Schneider Geospatial’s technology products. This role will be on a team of industry-leading professionals who partner with government agencies to provide high quality data products and technologies to their constituents.

Responsibilities of this role:

Fulfill data requests and inquiries from various customers.
Extraction and mining of large volumes of data sets from a variety of data sources (Relational databases, XML, flat file formats, etc.)
Analysis of differences between source and target data schemas to properly map data between systems.
Data quality verification.

Primary tools used for these efforts will include Microsoft SQL Server, Data Warehouse and Data ETL software tools developed by Schneider Geospatial to support our SaaS products.

Skills & Requirements:

Experience reading/writing Structured Query Language (SQL)
Experience with reading/writing basic script programs (Python)
Experience with Windows computer management and basic network administration tasks.
Experience with local government (county and municipal) operations, especially pertaining to land assessment and taxation, infrastructure, and asset management is a plus.
Experience with GIS, specifically ESRI ArcGIS products, is a plus.
Experience reading/writing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, is a plus.
Strong work ethic and proactive approach, especially in working in small teams with an entrepreneurial attitude.
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills, with a willingness to learn new skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s in computer science, management information systems, GIS, or other relevant field.
