Schneider Geospatial has an exciting opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial attitude to support and grow our popular Beacon and qPublic.net web portals. This position is responsible for subscription and data sales for all related approved accounts. This is the perfect position for someone early in their sales career looking to grow and make an impact!

Primarily responsibilities will include identifying and contacting existing and potential subscribers on a regular basis to educate them on our subscription and data services for upsell opportunities, and supporting existing subscribers to the system. Strong communication skills are needed, primarily using phone, email, webinar, and social media venues. The key to success with this position is an aggressive client and potential client communication schedule.

Predominately an inside sales position, the successful candidate will develop a sales plan to increase subscribers and data service clients. This line of business is already established and growing – and waiting for the right person to help accelerate it.

What can you expect in this role?

Support to develop a sales plan that works for you, and flexibility to adjust the plan to what’s working and what’s not.
Seamless digital environment, working primarily on the phone, email, and in web presentations and support. You will being using and enhancing proven techniques as well as developing new techniques to take advantage of our growing social media audience.
Diagnose problems, suggest solutions, negotiate, and close the deal. You will be a significant contributor in the entire sales process.
Position Schneider as the industry expert. You will do this by understanding your clients’ unique needs and providing strategies that capitalize on Schneider’s strengths and maximize value for your client.
Drive new business by establishing key relationships and developing new opportunities by identifying and solving clients’ problems.
Use the world leading CRM (Salesforce) to manage your contacts, leads, opportunities and the sales pipeline.
Qualifications that make you a perfect fit.

Bachelor’s degree
1-3 years sales experience
Great communications skills; you must be able to build a report with client over the phone.
Strong entrepreneurial attitude
Tenacity and confidence
Tech savviness and strong presentation (especially in a web environment) and social media skills.
