SEP has an immediate opening for an Engagement Manager.

We've been helping companies build great software products since 1988 in a wide range of industries and technologies.

Key responsibilities of this position:
* Act as the primary interface to our clients for assigned projects
* Understand client strategy and objectives
* Support the development of new business
* Collaborate with management team for holistic success - deciding which work to pursue, staffing teams for customer success, and creating a great employee experience
* Coach and mentor team members’ performance and career development
* Monitor and report on project status and team performance
* Manage invoicing and budgets related to the project(s)
* Occasional travel to meet with clients (could be local or out of state)

Our ideal candidate:
* Has 7+ years of experience leading software product development teams
* Loves to work with creative makers to build great software products
* Enjoys developing relationships with the clients we serve
* Employs a servant leadership approach
* Has experience with Agile and Lean methodologies
* Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Has the ability to understand complex domains with many moving parts
* Has the ability to gracefully challenge and inspire others
* Has experience working closely with a variety of stakeholders (professional services experience is a plus)
* Has experience working with (or within) large organizations and an understanding of their mechanics (budgeting, expectation management, processes, etc.)
