Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Vice President of Sales to lead our growing Sales organization and deliver the pipeline required to meet our ambitious new business goals now and in the years ahead. We are targeting an individual that has been in a position requiring them to transition a team either from an acquisition or significant transition from an ARR standpoint, has been a trusted advisor to their peers on the executive team, and is not afraid to leverage their experience to help the betterment of the entire organization.

The ideal candidate is passionate about scaling a sales organization, talent progression, business development, alignment with marketing, and Sigstr’s vision. We’re looking for an inspiring leader who can create an accountable, performance-driven culture, build and/or fine-tune a repeatable sales process to deliver results, and coach all levels of sales professionals to develop in their careers. In this role, you’ll lead a team of 20+ including sales directors, and scaling a world-class sales organization. Further, you’ll be a part of Sigstr’s leadership team as we transform what employee email can do for companies.

What You’ll Contribute

Build repeatable training processes that help AE’s learn sales skills, product and industry knowledge, and professional habits they need to succeed in the role.
Train and assist sales reps in closing business by teaching best practices in prospecting, managing and closing opportunities, and the skills needed to position Sigstr as an industry leader.
Manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts and closed deals to ensure above-quota results based on successful pipeline management
Build, measure, and optimize a repeatable sales process to successfully achieve the targeted sales objectives.
Be involved/hands-on in the sales process for enterprise level deals, being an example for our sales team on how to navigate these relationships successfully.
Work with newly acquired and existing customers, industry partners, etc. to ensure you (and we) have a strong understanding of our position in the market and are continually listening to feedback for the betterment of our product and sales processes.
Recruit, hire, and manage a growing team of Account Executives and managers.
Cultivate a team culture that’s positive, accountable, motivating, and performance-driven.
Work within a team as well as lead efforts to enhance business goals for our customers, team, and company.
Partner with other departments to ensure continuity in the customer journey, and offer support/suggestions for efficiency and satisfaction.

What You’ll Need

Deep knowledge of a complex sales process with 8+ years of sales management experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
Built and led a sales teams in companies with revenue in excess of $5M and preferably up to $20M+.
Superb leadership skills. You’ve shown the ability to recruit, hire, and manage talented people.
Ability to build scalable processes, and you have the analytical skills to optimize them over time.
Curious, constantly learning, and adaptable. You’re excited by the complex and changing nature of the marketing industry. You also believe sales is evolving, and you’re determined to bring Sigstr to the cutting edge.
