What You’ll Be Doing:

The Financial Analyst will work directly with Spot’s Manager of Financial Reporting & Analysis, CFO, and other senior management to support business needs in various areas of financial analysis and reporting. The Financial Analyst will have expertise in using Microsoft Excel, writing SQL queries & reports, and an understanding of key finance & accounting principles. Employee must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, entrepreneurial, and have an ability to multi-task, as there will likely be multiple ongoing projects at all times.
Develop and maintain customized financial and operational reports across multiple business areas for use by senior management, including:
Sales-Related Reporting & Analysis
Work with sales teams to track monthly sales goals & ongoing reporting of related results.
Daily/weekly/monthly sales & customer performance reporting.
Work with Sales Directors to prepare standardized sales rep dashboard reporting, performance scorecards & KPI’s.
Customer Reporting
Create customer-specific monthly reports and analyses.
Work directly with sales reps to analyze monthly results, trends & opportunities.
Automate existing and future reports to improve company efficiency.
Prepare “ad hoc” financial analysis at request of CFO and other senior management.
Present findings & provide recommendations to senior management regarding financial analysis performed.

Our Ideal Candidate Is/Has:

Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Finance, Accounting or related field.
1+ Year of relevant experience.
Expertise in Microsoft Office programs, SQL, PowerBI (or other business intelligence tools).
Experience with Microsoft Great Plains is a plus.
