What You’ll Be Doing:

The Marketing Associate will support Spot’s marketing objectives through the use of various strategic initiatives that are tailored to our three target audiences: shippers, carriers, and employees. This position is pivotal to the continued success of Spot’s Marketing Department by executing and overseeing the day-to-day management across digital platforms and marketing campaigns, as well as other related tasks. You will be a member of a collaborative team, dedicated to providing innovative marketing solutions to our internal and external customers. Creativity, attention to detail, and working with a high sense of urgency are essential for this role.
Plan and execute Spot’s social media presence to increase brand awareness and engagement across all platforms.
Executes e-mail sends and journey creation through Spot’s marketing automation platform.
Manage direct mail campaigns, working closely with various sales teams and management.
Supports the planning and execution of internal teambuilding activities.
Assists with the management of monthly blog posts targeted at prospective employees, carriers, and shippers.
Work closely with the Director of Marketing to execute current strategies in place and create new strategies as needed.
Responsible for collateral design for pieces developed by the Director of Marketing or Spot’s departments (case studies, logo sheets, etc.).
Formulates PowerPoint presentations for prospect and customer meetings.
Responsible for inventory of all promotional materials.

Our Ideal Candidate Is/Has:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
2+ years of proven progressive experience within a corporate B2B marketing department.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and take initiative under ambiguous circumstances in a fast paced, results-oriented work environment.
Proficient computer skills with PC-based desktop applications, such as Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint is required.
Must have strong attention to detail.
Outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Previous content writing experience is preferred.
Previous use of a marketing automation platform is preferred.
Experience with a social media scheduling platform is preferred.
