UI / UX Analyst
SWC Technology Partners is searching for an UI / UX Analyst to join our User Advocate Group. This individual will work on a team of business analysts and software developers, conducting business analysis, functional design, user experience and user interface design, and information architecture design.
Lead requirements gathering and discovery workshops for User Interface (UI) / User Experience (UX)
Conduct current state assessments of business processes and supporting systems
Perform gap and data analysis in support of identifying improvement opportunities
Support Technical Leads and developers by providing functional clarification and setting expectations with team and client
Document, socialize, and triage issues, defects, and enhancement requests
Author and create design artifacts such as: Functional design specifications, low fidelity wireframes, use cases, user personas, data dictionaries, process and data flow diagrams
Manage traceability matrices, change requests, test plans and test cases, user guides, capability discovery and delivery roadmaps
Wireframe, visual and interface design – (low fidelity in tool such as Balsamiq required; high fidelity in tool such as Photoshop or Illustrator nice to have)
User Interface design and patterns
Experience with navigation design, information architecture (IA), as well as interaction design (IxD)
Functional design and requirements documentation (both Waterfall Functional Specifications and Agile User Stories preferred)
Must have strong UX strategy, user research and user personas
Content inventory, analysis, requirements and design
User flow diagrams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
React, Knockout or other SPA or Templating frameworks
Responsive design and Bootstrap
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or WordPress
Dashboard design in tools such as Power BI and Tableau
3-5 years’ experience as a User Experience Designer, Interaction Designer or equivalent role
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Experience gathering, documenting requirements and leading working sessions
Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
Excels at operating in a fast-paced technical environment
Ability to solve problems, identify solutions, and appropriately escalate issues
Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer
