Job Summary:
The SalesForce Administrator (IT) will provide a high level of product specific support for the SalesForce environment. This role will collaborate with peers in IT for products and direct interface with IT management as well as all levels of functional counterparts (including executives). Support the end users with IT technology in support of plant and office goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Role Specific Responsibilities:
Perform development or direct third party developers as needed in the SalesForce environment for the commercial and marketing functional groups
Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment including lead on any integrations between SalesForce and any other external system.
Act as a key member of the IT team during a transitional period of modernization the group
Act as the key functional resource within the IT group guiding requirements on any new development within core competency area.
Responsible for deploying SalesForce to newly acquired companies
Hold Requirement sessions, guide design, oversee development, perform training and deployment and maintenance on newly developed functionality within the SalesForce environment
Communicates and coordinates with business users, managers, fellow IT counterparts, commercial/marketing leads to ensure the integration of processes and modules across the organization.
Handle all basic administrative functions including user management, account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks.
Help with data loads, release management and support
Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades; monitor data storage and salesforce licenses
Help with field permissions, new fields, update field level security, help with page layouts and assignments
Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations.
Assist in training of new users and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization. Support MyTrailhead for training team
Configure new applications in sandbox
Work with security and compliance team to meet established guidelines
Effectively act as the liaison between our users, business, and application development teams.
Work independently with members of the user community and support channel admins to provide support they need

Qualifications/Desired Skills:
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field with 10 years of relevant work experience or Masters degree and 7 years relevant work experience
Experience:
7+ years of experience working as an SalesForce Business administrator.
SalesForce Certification preferred
10+ years of software development experience.
Marketing Cloud experience a plus
Chemical industry experience a plus
Experience with the following a plus: MS Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 and Workstation 8.1/10, MS Office 2016/365, MS Exchange 2010/2013/2016/2019, MS SharePoint, MS Project, MS Visio, VPN (Cisco Secure Client), Citrix
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Significant technical knowledge, with specific ability to apply knowledge to business process solutions.
Broad-based technical knowledge of end user IT technology prefered.
Experience with large Full Life Cycle (FLC) project implementations, with hands on delivery and managing both onshore and offshore teams.
Experience with all aspects of the system implementation process of system design, configuration, customization, integration, testing and support including, but not limited to, gathering requirements, designing the future state solution, the development objects related to their process scope, as well as supporting testing and post implementation support.
Experienced in both Agile and waterfall methodologies
Have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills and the ability to interact with all level of stakeholders, support personnel, and clients
Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
