Wunderkind is looking for an experienced Workday Architect to support our People Team technology stack from an integrations & automations perspective. Reporting under our growing People Operations team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams to identify, automate and improve utilization of our HRIS and other relevant systems to meet the needs of our growing business and employee population.
The ideal candidate has thoughtfully implemented enterprise-level HRIS systems, supported other relevant systems and is passionate about utilizing technology to facilitate business objectives and provide an outstanding employee experience. This is a full time role that will report into the Director of People Operations.
Build, manage and maintain all system integrations related but not limited to Workday Studio API, Cloud Connect, EIB, Report Writer, and Core Connectors.
Act as a driver and subject matter expert for various information feeds that utilize OAuth, SFTP, API, webhook, and similar authentication methods within systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, etc
Assist with the development & streamlined automation of Workday Business Processes alongside other members of our People Systems, IT and other relevant teams
Apply business understanding and critical thinking skills to discover creative methods of integrating, automating and optimizing processes to that drive operational efficiency
Support the integrations of multiple products across our People & Insights technology stack: Workday, Salesforce, Greenhouse, Jira, Lessonly, Confluence, LucidChart, Lattice, CultureAmp and/or other similar solutions
Partner on cross-functional projects to drive the unification & ongoing modification of our technology to support evolving needs and processes
Assist with ad-hoc systems and other team needs & projects
Proven Workday experience: 5+ years of hands-on Workday implementation, administration and/or post-production experience
Required understanding of technical authentication terms & uses cases such as: API, webhook, SAML, OAuth, etc
Functional configuration experience with Workday HCM and exposure to one or more of the following Workday areas: Connectors, EIB, Prism Analytics, Reporting, Security, People (DEI) Analytics
Ability to consolidate and translate business needs into actionable requirements & technical specifications that can be fulfilled using our People Team technology
Basic project management and organizational skills, with emphasis on attention to detail and comfort prioritizing & problem-solving in a rapidly changing, fast-moving environment
Excellent communication skills and strong at driving cross-functional collaboration across various teams
Demonstrated experience handling sensitive information with absolute confidentiality and integrity
Preferred Bachelor’s degree or higher
