Zylo is looking for a dynamic Business Development Representative to help triple sales pipeline to achieve audacious goals with some of the best customers in the world. We dream big and aren’t afraid of the challenge to create and brand Zylo as the world’s largest independent SaaS management platform. You will have a direct impact on our annual recurring revenue and our growth and pipeline of our company. Simultaneously, over time you will work to improve and create processes to improve the sales cycle internally and externally. We already have some of the best companies as customers, including Eli Lilly, Slack and more. Now it’s your turn to generate more opportunities to expand our impact to help companies be able to discover, track, manage, and govern all of their SaaS applications in one place.
What you will do:
Achieve Big Audacious goals by consistently hitting or exceeding monthly and annual sales quotas
Enjoy the hunt and be excited by building and growing the pipeline of business
Be the voice of Zylo through researching, generating, prospecting, cold calling, emailing, and social selling to customers
Grow Personally Every Day by learning about key personas and the various lines of business and industries that could benefit in ROI from Zylo
Navigate through organizations with discovery by identifying and speaking to the necessary decision makers
Establish that Trust Starts with You by seamlessly handing off the qualified pipeline to our Account Executive team
Accurately track customer interactions and information in Salesforce
Approach senior executives both on the phone and via email
What we need from you:
High sense of urgency, experience managing multiple motions and the ability to multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, creating an excellent customer experience starting with the first interaction
Actively seek and implement feedback
Thrive on change while remaining optimistic and coachable
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
Ability to thrive in a distributed team; self-manage critical tasks and complete 100+ daily activities while working remotely
Passionate for Software as a Service and the value we can provide to our customers
Proven track record of success in customer service/sales roles is preferred, but not required
Proficient in computer systems (GSuite, Microsoft Office software, CRM would be nice to have)
Experience being held to metrics a plus
Based out of Indianapolis; preferred to work locally from our Indy office (post-Covid), but we will consider candidates remote outside of Indianapolis. *Note* Zylo takes our employee’s health and safety very seriously.
