Women & Hi Tech will host “Lead with Your Voice: Communication Strategies for Building Influence,” a virtual ClickSide Chat featuring Dr. Kasie Roberson, on Wednesday, November 11, from 4–5 p.m. EST.

The interactive session will explore how women, especially early-career professionals, can confidently share their ideas and build executive presence, influence and trust in the workplace. Topics include developing an authentic leadership presence, communicating with composure in high-stakes situations and applying Roberson’s People-First Communication Framework.

Roberson is a clinical associate professor in Purdue University’s Daniels School of Business and head of the Center for Working Well’s Hayes Leadership Coaching Institute. Her framework incorporates audience analysis, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, connection and trust, and communication ethics.

The event’s presenting sponsor is the Purdue Krenicki Center for Business Analytics and Machine Learning.

Registration is free for Women & Hi Tech members and $10 for non-members. Registration closes November 10. After signing up, attendees must complete an additional Zoom registration using the link provided by email to access the session.
