INDIANAPOLIS, IND. (Oct. 22, 2026) – Mission in Motion has announced that it will support the Minority Engineering Program of Indianapolis during the fourth quarter of 2026 through its Surveys to Serve program. The initiative donates to a featured nonprofit each quarter based on client survey participation, turning feedback into meaningful community impact.

Founded in 1986, MEPI exposes minority students in grades 6 through 12 to engineering careers and encourages academic excellence. The program holds monthly Saturday sessions with hands-on engineering projects, field trips, college and career preparation, and scholarship opportunities. Over its 40-year history, MEPI has introduced more than 5,000 students to STEM and built a strong network of corporate, university, and community partners committed to helping students see a future in technical fields.

MEPI’s programming continues to grow alongside the STEM landscape. Students work on robotics, coding, mechanical and electrical engineering, web development, aerospace engineering, and design challenges, as well as college-readiness programming. Recent additions include STEM boot camps and hands-on experiences with 3D printing, virtual reality, and high-power rocketry. Through MEPI’s Rocket Bootcamps, students build and launch flight-ready rockets while learning about aerodynamics, propulsion, and real-world aerospace careers.

Through its ongoing commitment to social responsibility, Mission in Motion participates in the Pledge 1% movement, dedicating 1% of its time and profit to support nonprofit organizations that make a lasting difference.
