The IEEE Computer Society Central Indiana Chapter is continuing its technical talk series for researchers, industry professionals and students interested in emerging technologies.

The series brings experienced technology leaders from well-known companies together with the Central Indiana community to share practical knowledge, real-world engineering experience and current industry perspectives. Topics include artificial intelligence, enterprise software, cloud computing, distributed systems, data engineering, cybersecurity and software architecture.

Siva Rama Krishna Varma Bayyavarapu, Secretary of the IEEE Computer Society Central Indiana Chapter, leads and facilitates the technical talk series. Drawing on his experience in enterprise systems, integrations, cloud platforms and distributed software, Siva works with invited speakers to identify relevant topics and make the sessions useful for both researchers and working professionals.

“Our goal is to bring practical technical knowledge from experienced industry leaders to researchers, students and professionals in Indianapolis and the surrounding community,” Siva said. “These sessions also give attendees an opportunity to learn directly from speakers who have worked on complex technology systems at scale.”

The next session, “Feeding and Fencing AI Agents: Engineering Governed Agentic Systems on Real-Time Data,” will focus on the engineering and governance considerations involved in building reliable AI-agent systems.

The session is open to everyone and free to attend, with advance registration required.
