Friday, we’ll celebrate the talented and innovative people of Indiana’s tech & innovation community at the Mira Awards.

The Mira Awards gala – 6:30-11:30 p.m. Friday at the Old National Centre — is a great opportunity to see the state’s best examples of digital innovation and to mingle with the people behind all that activity.

You’ll be inspired by the stories of some of our new award winners like the TechPoint Resilient Award, the Community Impact of the Year and the coveted Trailblazer Award.  You’ll be energized by others like the Startup of the Year,  Company of the Year and the Tech Innovation Team of the Year. The Tech Innovation of the Year is always a difficult choice, and this year had a record number of entries.

In all, 18 individuals and organizations will walk away with coveted trophies and hardware, including two new (to the Mira Stage) ones from our sister initiatives at AgriNovus Indiana and Conexus Indiana

Only those at the gala will be the first ones to know who wins.  But the event isn’t only about the award winners. Attendees will benefit, too. Here’s how:

  • There’s no better place to network in than the Mira gala. Past years’ attendees talk of meeting investors who ended up supporting their ventures in significant ways; meeting partners that enhanced their operations and future employees. Some even were inspired with ideas for future ventures or began relationships that continue today.
  • The pre-Mira Award gala cocktail hour starts at 6:30 p.m.
  • The After Party starts just after the last award is announced around 9:30 a.m.
  • There’s a Red Carpet this year, so if you’re one to dress to the nines, chances are good you’ll have some memorable photos/videos to remember the night.
  • Word on the street is there’s also a special performance planned that will be the talk of the night and perhaps weeks to come. You don’t want to miss that.
  • Attendees will receive a special gift as a keepsake from TechPoint to mark the 25th Year. You don’t want your desk to be the only one without it.

The venue this year is bigger than any space we’ve ever had for the Mira gala, so it’s your best chance to witness “the Oscars of Indiana Innovation.”

See you at Mira!
