DETROIT (Feb. 27, 2024) – Purpose Jobs, the largest community of purpose-driven startup and tech professionals, today announced five Indiana organizations as among its 30 Best Economic Development Organizations in Emerging Tech Hubs in 2024, including the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) and TechPoint.

The list covered organizations serving Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma and Wisconsin. Also listed from Indiana were Indiana Economic Development Corporation, the Bloomington Economic Development Corporation and the Applied Research Institute, also based in Bloomington.

“The Central Indiana Corporate Partnership and TechPoint make critical connections for startups, tech workers, and investors in the growing Indianapolis tech market,” said Ryan Landau, Founder and CEO of Purpose Jobs.  “We are excited to celebrate their work and their current and future impact on the region.”

Purpose Jobs described the organizations on the list as “the backbone of emerging tech hubs, providing invaluable support, resources, and connections to turn entrepreneurial dreams into reality. From securing funding to navigating regulatory hurdles to attracting top talent, they “are the guiding light for startups embarking on their journey to success.”

Many of the organizations on the 30 Best List have been recently designated as a Tech Hub enacted as part of the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022.

“This designation speaks to the work the TechPoint team, in concert with our colleagues at the CICP, have been doing for years as well as our recent efforts,” said TechPoint President and CEO Ting Gootee. “Because tech is a vital part of each of Indiana’s industrial sectors, advances in tech have an outsized role to play in today’s digital economy. While we focus on Indiana, we also applaud similar work in our region and celebrate all regional tech success.”
