Indiana’s booming tech ecosystem has adapted and innovated through the challenges of the pandemic, and its continued growth calls for even more talented professionals to join its ranks. To help answer this call we are excited to bring back the heralded Sales Bootcamp program for the first time in two years.

“Tech companies are back in growth mode and in need of sales talent to fuel that growth,” said TechPoint CEO Mike Langellier.

“Sales is a critical role for growing companies and offers a career path with high earnings potential for performance. This Sales Bootcamp program is a perfect opportunity to break into tech sales and has a 90-plus percent placement rate for getting bootcampers into full-time jobs.”

The four-week long Sales Bootcamp is a totally free program that launches participants into mini-internships with high-growth tech companies in central Indiana, preparing them to take on roles such as sales development representative, customer success manager, and account executive. Bootcampers also engage in TechPoint-directed professional networking within central Indiana’s thriving tech community. All of this together helps career-changers and recent graduates prepare to make their mark on the greater tech ecosystem.

Finding a way into tech sales

Sales Bootcamp alumna Lauren Alayza had been trying to find a way into the tech world for months in mid-2019 when she applied for the program.

“Sales Bootcamp allowed me the opportunity to land a tech job in my hometown,” she said.

“I was opened up to the software sales industry and given the opportunity to participate in learning-by-doing to see if what I wanted was a career in sales. After participating in the bootcamp, I was provided with career services and job placement immediately after completing the program. I even had job offers coming in while participating in the bootcamp because it has such a great reputation in the tech community.”

Lauren currently works as a sales development representative with Casted, a High Alpha start-up, and is eager to tell her friends to consider applying for the upcoming Sales Bootcamp cohort.
