Westfield Engineering Firm Celebrates 60 Years in Business in Central Indiana
(WESTFIELD) – Ball Systems, a Central-Indiana-owned and operated engineering test system manufacturer, is celebrating 60 years in business. Founded by Dr. Irvin Ball, the company supports global aerospace, defense, automotive, and industrial manufacturers.
“Sixty years for any business is an incredible milestone, and it speaks directly to the trust our customers have placed in us generation after generation,” says Vice President of Corporate Strategy Pat Turley. “Ball Systems has always been about more than creating test equipment. It’s about long-term relationships, accountability, and delivering exactly what our customers need on time.”
While other companies in the engineering test space have outsourced work to other parts of the world, Ball Systems remains wholly American-owned and operated, with corporate headquarters in Westfield and a regional office in Detroit, Michigan.
“Our customers come to us with some of their most challenging problems,” says Turley. “Our role is to execute with discipline, communicate clearly, and deliver systems they can trust in real-world environments.”
Ball Systems customers include Boeing, Honeywell, Borg Warner, General Dynamics, and many more. The company is also on approved vendor lists for Department of Defense projects.
