INDIANAPOLIS, IND. — Indiana college students interested in entrepreneurship, innovation, and problem-solving are invited to attend the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Summit on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 16 Tech in Indianapolis.

The free, one-day summit will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 1220 Waterway Blvd and is open to students from colleges and universities across the state. The event is designed for students curious about building, creating, and solving problems — whether through startups, corporate innovation, social impact, or new ways of thinking within existing organizations.

Throughout the day, students will have opportunities to:

  • Learn from founders and innovators working across Indiana
  • Participate in interactive workshops and discussions
  • Explore how ideas turn into real businesses
  • Connect with peers from universities statewide
  • Discover pathways to future programs, funding, and support

In addition to summit programming, students are encouraged to participate in the Anchor & Accelerate: INnovation Challenge, presented by Roll Tack Ventures, Butler University, and the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP). Challenge materials will be provided ahead of the Summit for participating teams. There is no limit to the number of teams (two students per team) that may enter from each university.

The Innovation Challenge gives student teams the opportunity to work on a real-world business problem, develop a startup concept and business model, pitch their ideas to industry and venture capital judges, and compete for cash prizes and recognition.

Transportation assistance funding is available. Students seeking support should contact Andy Lehman at alehman@16tech.com.

Students are encouraged to register as soon as possible to guarantee their spot.
