“I’ve had the pleasure of being involved with Women & Hi Tech for 14 years. It is beyond fulfilling to see how the organization has scaled its impact,” Trusty said. “As an all-volunteer, working Board, this team and their committees pour their heart and soul into our mission to change how Hoosier women are represented in STEM so that our fields are equally inclusive of all. Our 1,500 members came to Women & Hi Tech in search of a community that would support them, teach them, and enrich their lives. For 25 years, they’ve found and fostered that space – whether they need the understanding ear of someone who can relate to their experience or a timely piece of advice. We support, recognize, and advance outstanding women in STEM careers and lift up girls who aspire to pursue STEM careers in Indiana.”
