As an Associate Analytics Enablement Apprentice, you will begin a 12-month structured development program, blending practical work experience with expert-led training, coaching, mentorship and additional support to help accelerate your tech career. This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for analytics and the drive and dedication to quickly grow in both technical skill and hands-on application.

What You Will Do:

  • Help document community-driven governance feedback and contribute to policy documentation.
  • Assist in delivering enablement activities: workshops, office hours, and onboarding sessions for citizen developers.
  • Maintain and update governed code templates, sample repos, and developer playbooks under guidance.
  • Support tooling and automation that leverages Power BI logs and metadata to track tenant usage and performance.
  • Execute targeted audits of premium-node and tenant infrastructure using predefined criteria; document findings and support remediation activities.
  • Assist in translating audit results into documentation for automated checks and workflows.
  • Support adoption measurement and reporting for Allegion’s Power BI Data Assets.
  • Track and report on CoP enablement activities and tenant metrics.
  • Follow Allegion code management processes and support teams in adopting governed patterns.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines.
  • 0-2 Years’ experience in Analytics/BI or related technical roles (internships and academic projects count).
  • Basic experience creating data assets in Power BI/Microsoft Fabric.
  • Familiarity with Power BI concepts and willingness to learn tenant admin APIs and telemetry.
  • Basic proficiency in SQL; willingness to learn scripting (Python, PowerShell, or similar) for automation.
  • Basic understanding of version control concepts and willingness to learn CI/CD for analytics.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to support training and community activities.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to follow audit procedures and document findings.
  • Basic understanding of data modeling concepts and DAX or willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responsibilities as required.
  • No four year degree preferred.

Apprenticeship Requirements

As an apprentice, you’ll spend an additional 10-15hrs per week outside of your 40hr per week responsibilities (50-55hrs per week total) accelerating your career by working with expert facilitators to grow your tech skills, build your portfolio and earn additional industry certifications. You’ll also meet with coaches and mentors to further develop your leadership skills. There is no cost for this training, as it is included as an additional job benefit.
