Job Description

Position Overview: This position is an advanced-level HRIS role focused on the configuration, maintenance and optimization of the Workday HRIS. This position serves as a subject matter expert for Workday modules, supports complex reporting and analytics, and works closely with the HRIS Manager to enhance system functionality for the company. The HRIS Specialist II also mentors junior HRIS staff and plays a key role in system projects and process improvements.

Must be authorized to work in the United States of America, now and in the future, without company sponsorship.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Workday modules and business processes
  • Develop and maintain advanced Workday reports; including calculated fields, dashboards, and matrix reports
  • Lead or support Workday projects; including module implementations, Workday optimizations and data conversions for potential mergers or acquisitions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
  • Collaborate with HRIS Manager to align system functionality with business needs
  • Assist in training and supporting HRIS Specialist I with various tasks
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to support knowledge transfers and system
  • Responsible for testing new Workday features, releases, and configuration changes
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work within strict time frames
  • Detailed oriented with the ability to process work accurately with minimal errors
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks or project simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Work well in a team environment

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, IT or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience configuring in Workday HRIS, required
  • Prior HRIS implementation experience, preferred
