Job Description

Job Summary/Basic Function

The Instructional Design Consultant plays a critical role in advancing the quality of teaching and learning at the university by providing expert guidance in the design, development, and evaluation of instructional materials and courses. This position collaborates closely with faculty, academic departments, and the Indiana State Online Faculty Fellow to support the creation of engaging, research-informed, and accessible learning experiences across various modalities. The consultant also leads project management efforts related to course review and development, ensuring alignment with institutional standards and best practices in instructional design.

Required Relevant Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years experience in education.

Preference will be given to individuals with experience in Universal Learning Design and/or WCAG accessibility standards.
