DESCRIPTION:

OmniSite is an industry leader in machine-to-machine (M2M) monitoring solutions providing products and services to water, wastewater, and other industries across North America. We engineer, build, and support cellular devices that help protect the environment by detecting problems before spills occur. Our products are also used to monitor a variety of other industrial equipment.
Our web-to-wireless products work as follows: The product detects a malfunction on a piece of remote machinery. This malfunction is reported by OmniSite’s product to the local cell tower, which is then routed to the owner/operator via text messaging, voice call, or email. OmniSite’s central website keeps a history of all events and operational data for each monitored piece of machinery. OmniSite makes its environmental protection products to warn owners/operators of potential problems before a serious situation occurs.
Among other endeavors, at OmniSite, we: design the electronic printed circuit boards (PCBs) that go into our products; design and write the complementing software that runs the PCBs providing the functionality of our products; create the website and database that stores and displays the operational data collected from our products; develop smart phone apps to view the activity of remotely located machinery; and assemble, test, and support all of our products.
